Western Major Baseball League...The Weyburn Beavers strong start to the season continued last night.

 

The Beavers received a strong pitching performance from Jerry Ahearn, as Weyburn got by the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets 3-2 last night.

 

With the win the Beavers improve to 2-1 on the season and will get ready for their home opener on Friday night when Melville comes to town.

 

First pitch friday, 6:00 at Tom Lang Park.

 

Fans don't forget that the big 50/50 draw will be made in the middle of the 7th inning friday night.
