Last night was a night for locals to get out and do things, including taking a spooky tour of decorated homes, to carving pumpkins at the Weyburn Public Library.

It's an event that hadn't been held since 2019.

Kendra Ellingson and her daughter attended the Pumpkin Carving event last night at WPL.

"I love being back. Really, right now, anything we can do in the community, just getting out and not being stucks in COVID situations anymore," she shared.

Diana Woon regularly attends the library events with her two children.

"Yeah, I do. I missed it. So it's really nice, so now they open up and we can have more in-person programs," she said. "I hope that it kind of stays like that instead of having any more restrictions."

Around 15 people were in attendance last night for the event, as the library is once again offering a number of programs, for which pre-registration is required.
