The Weyburn Red Wings have announced that one of their young defenceman from last year will be back for his second season with the club this winter.

Ninteen-year-old defenceman Ian Lazar will be back this season.

The 6'4" native from Wadena had three assists in 27 games last season and made great improvements throughout the season.

The Wings also announced that goaltender and local product Tanner Erickson has signed to a camp tryout.

Erickson is 17 and is the son of former Red Wing Ray
