Despite the colder temperatures, it’s already time to start thinking about getting the kids signed up for their spring activities. Registration is now open for the Weyburn Thrasher Box Lacrosse program.
“We will also be offering lacrosse development programming for ages 3 to 17 again this year. And if you are wanting to register for that you can find the registration link on our website as well.” said President, Staci Labrecque.
Labrecque also mentioned that the season is scheduled to commence in mid to late March, concluding at the end of June. The registration deadline for age divisions U11 to U17 is March 15, with late entries incurring an additional $50 fee. However, there is no registration cutoff for U5 to U9.
In an effort to minimize costs for families, the club actively pursues fundraising goals each year. Alternatively, at the time of registration, families have the choice to opt for a 'Fundraising Buyout.' If families opt to engage in the fundraising activities, they can simply omit this buyout option.
