The Co-op Challenge Series wrapped up last night, with the WCS Eagles playing host to the Estevan Elecs. The evening started off with a thrilling five set affair between the Senior Boys teams with Weyburn coming out on top in the fifth and deciding set. The games played went as follows:

Game One: Weyburn 25 - Estevan 21

Game Two:  Estevan 25 - Weyburn 10

Game Three: Weyburn 25 - Estevan 20

Game Four: Estevan 25 - Weyburn 19

Game Five: Weyburn 15 - Estevan 10

Both teams put on an excellent display of showmanship and athleticism, making for a very entertaining series of volleyball to watch. After both the Estevan series and the Weyburn one, it was the Eagles with a commanding 6 to 2 edge, after sweeping the series on the road.

The ladies half of the night belonged to the WCS Eagles. The Eagle ladies completed the three game sweep of the Estevan Elecs for the second consecutive week, taking six straight games from their Highway 39 rivals. The games played went as follows:

Game One: Weyburn 25 - Estevan 12 

Game Two: Weyburn 25 - Estevan 19

Game Three: Weyburn 25 - Estevan 10 

The Eagle ladies team put on a commanding display of volleyball, dominating from start to finish.

The boys will have a few tournaments in the coming weeks before they head down to Estevan for Regionals. 

The girls will have a couple more tournaments in the coming weeks before the play as the host team for their Regional tournament.
