A Coronach RCMP constable is doing something amazing for a little boy in Iowa.

The young boy's police officer father was killed in an off-duty accident. Police officers started sending the young man their business cards to show him support. The boy brought the collection to school to show friends when a bully ripped them up.

Inspired by a police constable out of Peterborough, Coronach RCMP Constable Billy Gossen is now trying to collect business cards to replenish the young boy's collection.

"This was a no-brainer, this is the least thing that a police officer can do for this young guy, especially when it means so much to him, so what I did was I just start contacting members within the RCMP," says Constable Billy Gossen with the Coronach RCMP.

Constable Gossen, who has been stationed in a variety of places in Canada has been contacting as many RCMP and Police Detachments as he can.

The boy who has received many business cards from the United States, will also now receive some from Canada.

"I just sent out a couple emails, so far I've got a lot of responses and by the sound of it I've got a lot of business cards coming my way, I've also got into contact with Weyburn City Police," says Constable Gossen.

The young man was so proud of his collection and Canadian constables want to support him and show him that bullying won't win.

Constable Gossen will be sending him cards and other RCMP memorabilia to help rebuild his lost collection.
