Farmers taking in a CPS Crop Information Day in Swift Current had a chance to learn more about some of the products that can enhance their farming operation.

Producers had a chance to learn more about Balanced Fertility, the role of Surfactants, how Precision Agriculture can work for them and more.

Graig Whitehead, the Southwest Saskatchewan Manager for Crop Production Services,  was pleased with the first time event and says it’s something they will look at again:

"We had about a 120 farmers come through in conjunction with about 30-40 CPS staff and our suppliers that work with us on a day to day basis to service those guys so in talking with everybody it sounds like there was a lot of good

questions, a lot of engagement, and a lot of positivity surrounding the upcoming growing season," Whitehead said.

Whitehead notes farmers depending on the area they are in could be in the field in about 4 to 6 weeks so they are busy finalizing their cropping plans and crop input needs.
