The 18U AA Weyburn Beavers continued their streak Friday night, putting up nine runs in the sixth inning en route to a 16-7 win over the Regina Pacers. The win moves the Beavers to 8-1 on the season. 

The Beavers were led at the plate by Sam Mallory, who went 4-for-5 at the plate with two triples and driving in three runs. Dallen Oxelgren also drove in three runs. Ben Manning had two RBIs, with Seth Deis, Vlad Szczecinski and Owen Klein recording an RBI each. 

On the mound, Karsten Geiger got the win, going four innings. He struck out four while allowing two runs, both earned. Oxelgren pitched two innings in relief, striking out three, and allowing five runs, three earned. The game was closed out by Mallory, who struck out one batter. 

The Beavers will be back in action Sunday afternoon. They host the Moose Jaw Canucks at Tom Laing Park.
