The U18 AA John Hulbert Construction Wings played a pair of games on the weekend, heading to Emerald Park for a game against Prairie Storm Friday night, then returning home for a match-up with the Moose Jaw Warriors Sunday. The Wings would split the two games, falling 5-4 to Prairie Storm, but picking up a 2-1 win Sunday night.  

In the game Friday night, Justin Whitrow led the way for the Wings with a goal and a pair of assists. Kegan Ksenych had a goal and an assist, while Karter Haupstein picked up two helpers in the loss. Also scoring goals Friday were Silas Stein and Noah Kopec. Andon Hoff, Morgan LaCoste and Cyson Romanow had assists in the loss.  

In goal, Zachary Barath turned aside 22 of the 27 shots he faced. 

Sunday night, the Wings peppered the Moose Jaw goal with 54 shots, but only two were able to get past netminder Casson Silbernagel. Stein and LaCoste scored for Weyburn, with Stein also adding an assist. Arter Gervais had two helpers, while Whitrow also picked up an assist. 

The U18 AA Wings are back in action Wednesday night as they host the Notre Dame Hounds at Crescent Point Place.

The U18 AA Aaron Well Servicing Gold Wings were in Weyburn for a home game against the Western Prairie Thunder Friday night. The Gold Wings would see a strong performance in goal from Ivey Grant as they went on to a 4-0 win.  

Katelyn Thackeray and Hadley Gerle had a goal and an assist each in the win, with Bostyn Runge and Megan Reid also finding the back of the net in the victory. Jada Naviaux and Kaylin Wilhelm added a pair of assists in the victory.  

The next game on tap for the U18 AA Gold Wings is Tuesday night, as they travel to Wilcox to take on the Notre Dame Hounds.

The U15 AA Annugas Wings were at home on the weekend, playing a pair of games. Saturday, they topped the North East Wolfpack 7-2, but came up short on Sunday, falling 4-1 to the Yorkton Terriers.  

In the game Saturday, goalie Nick Forsyth was tested 37 time, with only two getting past him in the win.  

Up front, Aidan Mohan had a pair of goals and an assist, while both Evan Aasland-Guest and Andrew Hemphill finished the game with a goal and two assists. Also scoring for the Wings was Reid Kosior, Brody Morrice and Rhett Weichel. Picking up assists in the game were Jack Bell, Nixon Stein and Kaleb Sheasby.  

Sunday afternoon, the Wings put as many shots as they could on the Yorkton net but could only solve Waylon Johanson once.  

The lone goal for the Wings came from Wade Franks. The assist on the goal was credited to Mohan.  

The U15 AA Wings will be back in action on Saturday, travelling to Swift Current for a game against the Broncos.

The U13 AA Youngfellow Wings travelled to Melville Saturday afternoon to take on the Millionaires. The Wings fell behind early but rallied back. The comeback ultimately came up short, though, as they fell 5-4.  

Kobe Deck scored twice in the loss for the Wings, with Ayden Warren and Riley Brown also finding the twine. Reid Spagrud, Easton Spagrud and Asher Loustel also notched assists in the loss.  

The U13 AA Wings hit the road Thursday for a game against the Regina Tigers.
