A man accused of abducting his daughter late last year appeared in a Regina courtroom on Tuesday.
Michael Gordon Jackson, 52, was arrested last month in British Columbia and faces a child abduction charge involving his seven-year-old daughter.
His daughter Sarah Jackson had been in the full custody of her mother.
His next court date has been pushed back until he gets counsel, court officials said. He will remain in custody until Thursday.
Jackson is from Carievale, Sask., about an hour east of Estevan.
