A few years ago, the Weyburn Agricultural Society launched a new and unique event here in Weyburn. However, four years in, Covid shut it down.

Now, it's back!

"Finally, after a two-year break, we are pleased to be presenting the 5th Annual Flavours of Fall Food and Beverage Expo," said Ag Society member Lisa Vick. "It's just a great night of food sampling, beverage sampling, with live entertainment. We get over at the curling rink, we pack it full of people and there's great visiting, socializing, listening and eating. What more could you want?"

The event will run from 8:00 p.m. until about 1:00 a.m. on October 8th at the Curling Rink. Although there are limited details on what the public can expect, the Ag Society is currently making a big push for vendors.

"We have some openings yet for some vendors," Vick noted. "We've got some great ones already lined up, a lot of names and faces that you've seen in the past, they'll be back but if there's anyone who's interested in showcasing their food or beverages they are more than welcome to get in contact with us. They can contact the office or they can email us at flavoursoffall@gmail.com."

She noted that they are open to any and all types of food and beverages.

She also hinted that there would be a few surprises over the next few weeks.

"We do have our entertainment lined up, we are keeping that closed off right now, and ticket sales, we should hopefully have those up and running soon," she said. "Just save the date is what we want you to do. Vendors, restaurants, or if you have some beverages you'd like to get out there and sample for the community, get in contact with us and we will hope to release the rest of the details shortly."
