The Weyburn Police Service continuing to investigate last weeks armed robbery of Kuya Waynes convenience Store.

"We are still looking for public input in terms of identifying a suspect or a person of interest in the armed robbery last week. We have followed up on some leads. To this point those have all been negative," explained Deputy Chief Rod Stafford, Weyburn Police Service."

Stafford adds the business doesn't have surveillance equipment which makes identifying the culprit harder.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, between the ages of 25 and 30, standing between 5’7” and 6’ tall, with a medium build. He had a diamond earring in each ear and was wearing a black hoodie, a black or grey tuque, and loose-fitting pants.

The suspect was last seen running on Third Street South, heading south.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Weyburn Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
