After a recent stretch of over .500 baseball, the Weyburn Beavers push for the playoffs has come up short.

The Beavers falling 12-10 to the Regina Red Sox last night to officially eliminate them from playoff contention.

Weyburn still has a pair of games to round out the season.

The Beavers will be in Moose Jaw tonight, while they finish out the season tomorrow night at home against Yorkton.
