Chicken lovers all over Canada are jealous of Weyburn once again. Weyburn's KFC restaurant just reopened its all-you-can-eat buffet today.
Owner operator Larie Semen said they're excited to be able to resume with the family favourite.
"It's been very, very positive," he shared. "In two years since the Covid, and with the buffet being shut down, and we're pretty excited that today we finally get to open our famous KFC buffet. It's the only one left in Canada, so we're pretty excited. We're hoping that we're going to be super busy for the next few weeks and we'll roll with it."
Semen said the KFC corporation has strict guidelines to make sure the brand is protected.
"It's an ongoing process that we always have to to work with, and they're working with us on it."
"We missed our customers that we've had in the past, and we just hope that they continue to support us," he added. "We definitely want them to enjoy a good variety of food and great quality that we've always had. So we're pretty excited to continue it."
