The first regular meeting of June goes tonight for Weyburn City Council at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers.
A relatively busy agenda includes reports from Weyburn Fire Services, Public Works and Taxation Collection.
A big item on the agenda is a presentation from City Manager Mathew Warren on the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program, for which the City has applied following the recent heavy rainfalls causing flooding at the Weyburn Leisure Centre.
A discretionary use application will be reviewed concerning the placement of a shipping container near a local industrial business, and the Weyburn Credit Union will request a permit for an open air concert for their big event coming up next week. Read more HERE.
