The 42nd Annual Weyburn Communithon is now just five days away - the big event takes place on Friday, October 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Until this Wednesday, the Finance Committee is making it easy for donations to be made in advance. The fundraising goal is $82,023 this year, and that's why a few of Weyburn's financial institutions or 'HUBs' will accept individual or personal donations via cash or cheque.

Cheque donations must be made payable to the United Way of Regina, and donors are asked to include the Weyburn Communithon in the memo line of the donation cheque. 

Donations will be accepted at the hubs until Wednesday, October 25th.

If you want to help out in advance, you can stop by the Bank of Montreal, Scotiabank, and the Weyburn Credit Union and contribute to the cause, which supports Big Brothers Big Sisters Weyburn, Canadian Mental Health Association Weyburn Branch, Community Low Income Centre, CNIB Foundation, Envision Counselling and Support Centre, Inclusion Weyburn, Southeast Advocates for Employment, Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan, Weyburn Care-a-Van, and Weyburn Youth Centre.

If you'd rather wait until the big day, you can drop off your donation in person at the Legion on October 27th, 2023.
