Community in Action Against Addiction is a new group that was formed in 2022. The support group is holding its next meeting on January 18. 

“We are a group of local women who we've all had loved ones struggling with addiction. And some of us have even lost family members due to addiction, so we wanted to form a group because we understand, we know how you feel,” said Group Member Susan Adderley. 

“Our group is open to both men and women of all ages and we'll meet to support and share in confidence again. There's no shame, no judgment, just unconditional caring, and love because we've been there.”

On Wednesday, January 18, the support group will meet at the Weyburn Public Library from 7 pm until 8:30 pm, the evening's guest speaker is still to be announced.
