It will be a busy evening for Weyburn City Council as they meet in chambers Monday for their regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting will also be the last one for the month of June.

One of the key items on the agenda will be the discussions about the proposals received for the new entrance signs into the City of Weyburn. In all, there were four submissions received by the city. The price tag for the signs ranges from $217,882 to $574,977. The designs are viewable as part of the City Council agenda notes.

In addition to the signs, the council will be receiving a report on the construction of the Weyburn Recreation and Culture Centre. They will also vote on the applications made for the Youth Council for the coming school year.

In addition to these items, the council will also look at a discretionary use application for a shipping container to be used as storage, and a home occupation application.
