Crews from multiple communities including Weyburn, Yellow Grass, and Ceylon battled a fire this morning in Radville. On the scene reports say the fire began just prior to 3:00 a.m. with the sound of an explosion.

The Town Hall as well as the Fire Hall in the town have burned down, however nobody was injured.

Mayor Rene Bourassa told Discover Weyburn it completely destroyed their office, computers, and more.

"All our supplies for our water lines and repairs, all our mowing equipment was destroyed, two fire trucks, our utility tractor, and street sander, I would really like to thank the Weyburn Fire Department, Yellow Grass Fire Department, Ceylon Fire Department for their immediate attention for coming down, much appreciated. Department of Highways, we have water all over so they're sanding, our town employee our town administrator. Our assistant administrator, they were out there all night with that fire, and kudos go out to all of them. We are working on a temporary facility right now and we'll take it from there, we will take in stride."

We have reached out to the Fire Departments for the details.
