The Holiday Train is a favourite for many during the Christmas season. CPKC recently unveiled the schedule for this year along with an exciting lineup. Marking its 25th anniversary, the fundraiser has garnered a remarkable $22.5 million for food banks and donated over 5 million pounds of food to date.

Spokesperson, Terry Cunha shares the exciting details for the upcoming Christmas season, “Yeah, it's fantastic that the Holiday Train is about to kick off again for its 25th year. It is going to kick off on November 20th and it's going to be performing 191 live shows across Canada and the United States.”

Audiences can look forward to stellar performances by Juno Award-Winning Country Music Artist, Dallas Smith, and the immensely talented Mackenzie Porter. With a combined track record of success, Smith's global streams surpassing 520 million, and Porter's impressive feat of seven CCMA nominations, including her groundbreaking achievement as the first female in Canadian history with five #1 songs at Canadian country radio. Notably, Porter's remarkable talent has also garnered her a 2023 CMT Music Awards nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year.

Although the event is admission-free, attendees are kindly encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be contributed to the Weyburn Salvation Army Food Bank.

Mark your calendars for the Weyburn show, scheduled for Sunday, December 17. The festivities will commence promptly at 6:00 p.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m.
