Recently, Envision Counselling and Support Centre launched a brand new website, offering support for the community.

"We decided to launch a new website because we want to stay relevant in the changing online world. User-friendliness is one of the biggest changes," expressed July Dzuba, Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator for Envision Counselling.

"We're trying to simplify the website a little bit more. The website is resource heavy because we want that information out there on many different issues, like domestic violence, sexual assault or other types of abuse. With that said, there comes challenges and some barriers."

The end game of the new website is to provide information to people, especially victims, in an efficient manor.

“Considerable thought and effort went into enhancing our online presence, such as understanding the needs of those accessing our services online and deciding how to make the browsing process as efficient as possible” says Lynda Rideout, Assistant Executive Director at Envision, in a press-release.

The organization gave credit to their Cyberviolence Project. They mentioned that during that process, they learned how to stay relevant in the Internet so that they can better serve the community.
