A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Cody Tait. Tait was found dead on March 27th on the Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation. 

RCMP reported they arrested 29-year-old Dana Morningchild Tuesday in Saskatoon, and he is charged with second-degree murder.  

On March 27th, the Rosthern RCMP were called after the report of a shooting on Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation. When they arrived, they found 22=year-old Tait on the road. He passed away at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.  

On March 29th, Robbie Cameron of Saskatoon was arrested in connection with the death of Tait, and charged with second-degree murder. Then, on April 1st, the RCMP reported two more suspects had been arrested and charged – Scotty Jimmy of North Battleford and Allison Bear of Saskatoon.  

The RCMP continue to investigate, and anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
