The Fun in the Sun Inclusive Day Camp is returning this year and will look like it did pre-pandemic! The summer camps are aimed at kids ages 6 to 12 and fill up the summer weeks from July 4th to August 15th. Tina Clay, Program Manager with the City of Weyburn shares, “we are so excited to offer the Fun in the Sun Inclusive Day Camp again this year, this will be the first time we will run the program as we have in the past since 2019. We have 30 spots available for typical children and 8-10 spots per week for inclusive children.”

Youth will have adventure and fun outdoors all summer long with “Wet and Wild Day, Dinosaur Day, and Olympic Week”. Clay explains, “So it is a blend of sport, culture and recreation activities and each week there is a theme. The programmers set out the themes and each week they share the theme of the week on that Monday.”

Registration begins Monday, May 2nd at 8:30 am. To secure your spot, book online here or visit the Leisure Center in person. Registration closes on June 10th, but typically the spots fill up quickly says Clay, “they do fill up within a couple of days, so we encourage everyone to register early.”
