The annual Gateway Festival in Bengough is still a few months away but the Gateway crew has announced the first round of 2017 Artists!

We sat down with Taron Cochrane of Gateway to get the juicy details

That's right, TOM COCHRANE and Red Rider and 54-40 will both be gracing the Gateway stage!

Along with those huge names, we'll also see sets from Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, The Wooden Sky, Megan Nash, The Garrys, Library Voices, Ava Wild, Badland Country Band and Weyburn's own Small City Blues.

The 13th annual festival runs July 21-23 in Bengough and offers two stages on the main festival site, as well as the pool stage. Along with the shows, the grounds are packed with artisans, vendors and, of course, food trucks!

Tickets are available online right now and are $95 for Adult weekend passes and $55 for Youth weekend passes. You can get more information on tickets on the Gateway website.

Taron Cochrane noted that this is only the beginning of announcements, with a few more lineup announcements expected in the coming months.
