Consider dancing for a meaningful purpose. Weyburn's Old Tyme Dance Club is organizing a charity event, aiming to aid the Weyburn Curling Club. Joni McNaughton, a board member, reveals some of the exciting details.

“The dance will be on Friday, November 17th from 8:00 p.m. to midnight upstairs in the curling rink. The lounge will be open and there will be door prizes and drinks and snacks, and it'll be a lot of fun.”

Music will be provided by Two Stepp, Jason and Theresa will be playing what the crowd enjoys.

“When I approached Jason, he didn’t hesitate, he’s an avid curler himself and he’s all about community support. They are very versatile, they'll play towards the crowd, but they usually play waltzes, pocas, 2 steps, seven-step, whatever. So, it'll be interesting what kind of music he plays that night.”

The evening will kick off at 8 p.m. and run until midnight. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door. No minors allowed.
