A former member of the Weyburn Beavers has inked a professional deal.

Keaton Greenwalt will be spending the upcoming season with the Missoula Paddleheads of the independent Pioneer League. Greenwalt spent last season with Jersey Shore of the High A East league, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. He was drafted by the Phillies in 2019 and played 107 games in the minor league organizations.

Greenwalt played with the Beavers in the summer of 2018, where he appeared in 44 games. During his time with the Beavers, he had an average of .294, hitting five home runs and driving in 26 runs. He was honoured by the team in December 2020 when he was named an honourable mention at center field when the club unveiled their all-time team.
