The summer heatwave continues this week in the southeast.

Yesterday the mercury topped out at 36.8 degrees in Weyburn which, even though was hot, did fall short of the record high set back in 1985 at 39 degrees.

Today's forecast high is 36 , the record high for this date is 37.8 degrees set all the way back in 1917.

There is some relief in sight from these hot conditions.

Wednesday forecast high is 20.
