Yesterday was the first day of Blow Away Hunger, where we are teaming up with Great Plains Ford to make sure no one goes hungry this holiday Season.
We are set up in the Great Plains Ford showroom taking your food and cash donations to help the Salvation Army, today from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Scott Wagstaff, Sales Associate at Great Plains Ford says nobody should go hungry over the holidays.
“With the cost of food and all that stuff, rising living rates rising, it's just a great cause.”
The Blow Away Hunger F-150 is set up in the Great Plains Ford showroom to be filled with food donations.
“That truck will be filled. Like last year, same response, the truck was full. I'm not worried about that. You know, Weyburn seems to be a very giving community and we hope to get people down here and just keep filling her up.”
On top of helping out a great cause, everyone who donates will be entered to win a brand new snow blower from Canadian Tire.
