Embracing the true essence of the season, Lighthouse Church is ushering in Gloria 23, starting this Saturday. Enthusiastic volunteer Susan Adderley shares the exciting specifics.
“We are recreating what happened a long time ago in Bethlehem, which is the most beautiful Christmas story. And it's about the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. And we are presenting a musical drama with special songs, costumes, and dances and we'll be explaining how and why Jesus came to the Earth.”
“We have a big cast this year, everyone is involved. We have the kids; the youth, and we've even recruited some adults and they've all been really busy rehearsing and are super excited to perform for everyone on our beautiful set.”
The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 9 at the Lighthouse Church and admission is free.
