With the Weyburn Minor Hockey season right around the corner, players are not the only ones being asked to sign up. Minor Hockey in our city is looking for officials to register for the upcoming season as well.

If you have thought about becoming an official, Referee in Chief in Weyburn Brett Tuchscherer says it's a lot of fun. "You get paid for it, that's always a bonus. Weyburn Minor Hockey supports their officials in terms of paying for their clinic fees and stuff like that as long as you work enough games. There is also a fitness bonus."
