1:05 p.m. - Conditions have been steadily improving in the southeast. The travel not recommended advisory has been lifted for Highway 35 north of the junction with Highway 48, and Highway 39 from Estevan to North Portal has been re-opened. 

The highways in and around Weyburn are currently reporting as wet and subject to freezing, with slush developing as well. Visibility has also improved on the highways. These conditions are affecting Highways 13, 35 and 39 in both directions from Weyburn. Highway 33 from Stoughton into Regina is reporting wet and subject to freezing, with slush and snow drifts.

11:55 a.m. - Conditions have been slowly improving in the Weyburn area, with the only travel not recommended advisory still in effect for Highway 35 north of the intersection with Highway 48. Heading southeast from Weyburn, though, there is reduced visibility on Highway 39, and if you are heading down to North Portal, Highway 39 is closed from Estevan to the border.

10:30 a.m. - The travel not recommended advisory for Highway 39 from Yellow Grass to just past Rouleau, and for Highway 6 has been removed. It remains in effect for Highway 33 from Sedley to Regina.  

A travel not recommended advisory is now in effect for Highway 35 from the junction with Highway 48 north to Highway 1.  

Poor visibility is also being reported on Highway 33 from Stoughton through to Regina, Highway 35 from Francis north, and Highway 48 from White City to Kipling and beyond.

9:55 a.m. - The weather in the southeast is causing some issues on the highways in and around Weyburn.  

All of the highways in and out of Weyburn – Highway 13, Highway 35 and Highway 39 – have swirling snow, loose snow, icy or slippery sections and drifting snow. There has also been travel not recommended advisories issued for Highway 39 from Yellow Grass to just past Rouleau, Highway 6 from the junction with 306 to just south of the Corinne corner, Highway 33 from Sedley to Regina, the Trans Canada bypass around Regina as well as Highway 1 from Regina to Balgonie. 

The weather is also causing some visibility issues within Weyburn itself. Snow drifts are also starting to accumulate in some parts of the city.
