Lighthouse Church bringing a message of hope by celebrating with three performances this Friday December 17, 2021 at 6:30pm.  Local youth have been rehearsing for several weeks to bring three wonderful holiday performances to celebrate the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus Christ.

Worship Leader, Joshua Cherian says, “We’re sending a message of hope during these uncertain times.”

The curtain opens with the Christmas musical, “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem,” directed by Bindu Cherian and Susan Adderley. Fifteen children will be taking the stage to share their art in song and acting while celebrating the holiday season.

What’s hope without a little humour?!  Second production, performed by local teens takes a comical look by reimaging what it might have looked like if the Three Kings had to bring gold, frankincense and myrrh to baby Jesus during covid times.

The evening ends with a beautiful lyrical dance created and performed by local teen talent.

Production is FREE to attend, performance begins at 6:30pm and will end around 8pm. The church will be gifting hot chocolate and cookies for all who attend.

The Lighthouse Church formed in 2011 and is now located in the old Salvation Army Building at 126 4th Street, Weyburn SK.
