If you were planning to attend the Weyburn Credit Union's Community Reconnect and Celebrate barbeque event tomorrow night, the location has changed to the Curling Rink.

"Apparently the weather isn't going to cooperate with us, and that's not surprising for Saskatchewan weather, so our community barbeque and family dance is going to be relocated to our plan b, which is the Weyburn Curling Rink," said Vice President of Marketing with the WCU, Tana Torkelson.

She said everything else will be as planned, including bouncy castles and other fun for the whole family, and music by the Bromantics.

"We're really excited to have the Bromantics come play with us, they're a fantastic band," she commented.

During the intermission, the WCU will also be giving out the nearly $60,000 in Community Fund Grants.

"We're having a ton of great nostalgic food," Torkelson noted. "We're having gourmet hot dogs with chili cheese. We're having pink popcorn, slushies and even floats, so there's lots of good things for those that come out and celebrate and reconnect with us. We are charging just for the barbecue itself. It's $5 per person or $20.00 for a family."

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and all are welcome.
