Mainprize Regional Park will be hosting a variety of Canada Day activities for the whole family to enjoy. Several local businesses are stepping up to sponsor the events. From bouncy castles to a rock-climbing wall, and a pancake breakfast, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

We spoke with Denille Shroeder, Event Coordinator for Mainprize Regional Park.

“All day there will be bouncy castles that are sponsored by Seitz’s Rentals, and they have done some great things, they teamed up with Leicester Family Restaurant and Great Plains Ford, and sponsored our Fun-Zone,” said Shroeder.

All day the kids will be able to enjoy a total of four different bouncy castles. The afternoon is also scheduled with many fun-filled activities.

“The climbing wall will be out there, and we have a cart parade beginning at 2 p.m., and of course, we have fireworks Friday night,” explained Shroeder.

The fun doesn’t end there, Saturday morning, Minard's Leisure World is sponsoring a pancake breakfast which will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Shroeder also shared there will be a slow-pitch tournament running from July 1 to 3. To follow Mainprize Regional Park and its coming events, you can follow its Facebook page here
