During last night's meeting of Weyburn City Council, Mayor Marcel Roy welcomed to Weyburn the four new physicians who have been working here since the beginning of February.

"I would just like to welcome all the doctors, and say that we extend a very hearty welcome to the doctors, and hope that they stay here," said Roy.

"We have so much going on and within our city a very beautiful city," he continued. "We'd also like to say our appreciation that they have chosen Weyburn to be a place to set up their practice, because the people within our community are most grateful for any of the doctors."

Roy added this is especially considering the shortages we have seen here in Weyburn.

Dr. Ebelechukwu Ejiofor, Dr. Arian Ravaei and Dr. Saheed Gbamgbola are the three physicians at the Weyburn Health Centre. Dr. Pradeep Amarasooriya will be with the Primary Health Care Clinic until July.
