It was a weekend of wins and losses for Weyburn Minor Hockey. Here are the recaps from the games played by Weyburn teams that are in the SaskFHL and the SAAHL.

The U18 A TS&M Gold Wings played a home game at Crescent Point Place Sunday night, taking on the Carlyle Wildcats. Briell Farr would get the Gold Wings on the board in the first period, but a late goal from Carlyle would even things up, and the game finished in a 1-1 tie.

The U16 AA Agriterra Wings taking to the road for their lone game of the weekend. They played the Tigers in Regina, but came away empty-handed, falling 9-5. Brody Morrice scored twice, with Rhett Weichel and Ezekiel Stephenson adding a goal each.

The U15 AA Annugas Wings were on home ice for a pair of games on the weekend. They started Friday night taking on the Regina Aces. The visitors would score twice in the third period to come from behind for a 3-2 victory. Travis England scored twice in the loss.
Saturday, the Wings hosted the West Central Wheat Kings. Weyburn would come up short, falling 7-4. Andrew Hemphill had a hat trick in the loss, with the fourth goal coming from Reid Kosior.

The U13 AA Young Fellow Gold Wings were on the road on the weekend, playing Saturday night in Swift Current, and Sunday afternoon in Kindersley. In the game against the Wildcats in Swift Current, the Gold Wings came away with a 4-0 win. Lexie Fonstad, Ayla Spagrud, Ella Walkeden and Jorja Rutledge all scored in the win, as Baya Summers recorded the shutout in goal.
Sunday in Kindersley, the Gold Wings scored four goals in the third period en route to a 5-2 victory over the Western Prairie Thunder. Bree Poelen scored twice, while Sakoda Seitz, Rutledge and Spagrud also found the back of the net in the victory.

The U13 AA Young Fellow Wings coming up short in a pair of games on the weekend. Saturday, they fell 5-0 to the Yorkton Terriers in the Tom Zandee Sports Arena. Then, on Sunday, it was a high-scoring affair against the Regina Blues in Regina. The Blues, though, outlasted Weyburn, winning 8-6. Sawyer Treble scored four goals for Weyburn in the loss, with Ethan Deck scoring the other two goals.
