Weyburn Concert Series will be kicking off its 2023/24 season this September and the early bird deadline to grab tickets is fast approaching.

There’s a big lineup coming to the Cugnet Centre with Juno award-winning artist Shannon Saunders who will be kicking off the season with Gaslighter: Songs of the Chicks.

The combined season will have a total of six shows, but this year Weyburn Concert Series is mixing things up by including the theatre production, Middle Raged. A hilarious sketch comedy starring Geri Hall (22 Minutes, Second City) and Gary Pearson (Mad TV and Corner Gas).

“We got just all sorts of really cool things happening. So, we're excited. Our objective is to bring in a variety of concerts over the season that are good quality and all the prices affordable. So, we've got something for everyone, and for those of us who want to expand our musical horizons each one of these concerts will do that because each is different from the other,” said Linda Aitken, President of Weyburn Concert Series.

Grabbing the early bird ticket pricing offers huge savings reducing the ticket door price by 50%.

“It's going to end next Thursday, June 15th. So, if you're interested in tickets for our new series that will begin this fall in September so, for heaven’s sake, get your tickets.”

The season is offering six different shows, early bird pricing for an adult is $150 or $165 after the deadline or $50/ticket at the door. Child/student early bird pricing is $50 for the season or $65 after the deadline or $25 at the door.

Tickets can be purchased through Weyburn Concert Series members or at one of its two box offices, Old Fashion Foods, and the Weyburn Review.
