The Weyburn Housing Authority has been a part of your community for many years and they offer affordable rental housing for individuals and families.

And today they'd like to show the community one of their beautiful buildings that they currently have vacancies at. This building has seen a number of recent renovations. See our past news story for more info.

Come on down to Legion Towers (467-6th Street) today between 2pm and 4pm to visit their open house that is open to the public and to see if Legion Towers is right for you.

Legion Towers has lots of great amenities for tenants. There is an active tenant association that organizes regular social and recreational activities. Examples include bingo, entertainment evenings, card games, shuffleboard, birthday parties, coffee times, etc. There are free laundry facilities in the building, guest suites that can be rented when family or friends visit, common rooms on every floor where you can visit with your neighbors, a book corner for quiet reading, and in-house mail delivery. The building is situated in a convenient location, close to the Weyburn Leisure Centre and the Wheatland Senior Centre.

If you are over 55 and looking for an independent living suite, come and visit the Open House today. Staff will be on hand between 2:00 and 4:00 pm to provide tours and answer any questions. Hope to see you there!
