The Carnduff Red Devils entered game three of the Big Six Hockey League finals with an eye on lifting the championship trophy. They had a two-games-to-none lead in the best-of-five series and were looking to take the title on the road.

The Redvers Rockets had other plans. After making it through the first two rounds of the playoffs without a loss, the Rockets were hoping the friendly confines of home ice would make a difference, and they would be able to force a game four.

After 60 minutes of exciting senior hockey, it would be the Rockets who came out on top, winning 4-1. They had goals from Brady Gaudet, Daylin Smallchild, Preston Kopeck and Drew Hoff. The lone goal for Carnduff came from Ben Hiltz.

The two teams will now meet in Carnduff Friday night for game four.

Redvers last won the title in 2017/18, while the Red Devils last won in 2006/07.
