Producers around the Weyburn area have a chance to learn more about the livestock industry at the Livestock Farm and Ranch Update on Tuesday, March 13.

The daylong event will have four guest speakers. Grant Zalinko from Provincial Cattle Analyst will talk about cattle market updates; Etienne Soulodre from Saskatchewan Watershed Authority will shed light on re-establishing flooded pastures and hay land. They will also have producer experiences on winter feeding and grazing management and the last but not least "What's Up Doc?" which features Dr. Garry Hoium who will speak about herd health management updates.

"Along with the speakers there will be industry displays, and opportunities to mingle with the industry rep as well as other producers," says Regional Crop Specialist Elaine Moats.

The event will take place at McKenna Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is $30.

Today is the last day to register for this event, if you would like to do so you can call the local Saskatchewan Agriculture office at 848-2857.
