The RCMP are asking the public in the southeast to again check their properties if they haven’t done so already for 77-year-old Frances Gazeley.

The Weyburn woman was reported missing in early December, last being seen on the 6th or 7th of the month. Now, the RCMP along with the Weyburn Police Service are asking for those who are checking livestock and property, snowmobiling, or travelling in rural areas near Weyburn, Ceylon, Bengough, Minton and Colgate to be on the lookout for Gazeley, or any clothing or other items that would seem out of place.

In addition to the calls for people to check the property, the RCMP are also asking for anyone with trail or security cameras to check them. As well, anyone with rural property in the area they are not able to search due to being out of town or requiring assistance to undertake a search on their property can contact the Weyburn Police Service or their nearest RCMP detachment for assistance.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit, along with surrounding RCMP detachments, the Weyburn RCMP and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, have been completing searches in the area over the past week.
