Over the weekend, we asked you how inflation was affecting you and your household budget. Thank you to everyone who took part in the poll. Here are the results of the answers that were submitted to us.

Just over 84 percent of the respondents said they have had to make changes to their household budget as a result of rising prices. Nearly 60 percent of people said they are now paying more for their home than they were a year ago.

Of the responses, 84.9 percent of those who took part said they have had to reduce things like groceries, and 25.5 percent had taken on a second job to help ends meet.

There were 69.6 percent of the respondents who said they are relying on things like baking, preserves and a garden to help with their food budget, and 86 percent say they have not gotten a wage in the past 12 months that keeps up with inflation.
