Jeff Richards invited the public to the Travelodge where he explained his campaign platform for the upcoming election. His platform is broken down into a number of pillars including growth and elevated standard of living, inter-municipal cooperation, strengthened community, economic development, and job creation.
Richards hopes to grow the standard of living by ensuring the things brought into the community are the right things for Weyburn, and can open the door for more economic opportunities.
He is looking to create more inter-municipal and inter-governmental cooperation, such as partnerships with the rural municipality of Weyburn or the City of Estevan.
By increasing community spirit and preparedness, Richards hopes to strengthen the community of Weyburn and grow community pride.
