The Saskatchewan Roughriders were busy ahead of the 2019 training camp Wednesday, as the Green and White announced a number of signings, including four of their draft picks.

They signed receivers Justin McInnis and Brayden Lenius along with linebackers Jacob Janke and Christopher Judge.

McInnis spent four seasons at Arkansas State University, where he had 115 catches for 1,577 yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2018 alone, he had 56 receptions for 694 yards and six TDs.

Lenius graduated from the University of New Mexico, after spending three years at the University of Washington. Over four seasons the tight end picked up 581 receiving yards and four majors.

Janke played at York University, finishing off his third year of eligibility as a defensive back. He led the team in 2018 with 5.9 tackles per game and 47.5 total tackles. He also had three knockdowns.

Judge, the brother of current Rider Cameron Judge, played for three seasons at California Polytechnic along the defensive line. He had 55 tackles and four sacks over that time.

Two other players signed by the Riders Wednesday were linebacker Oluwaseun Idowu and receiver Malik Wilson.

Idowu started as a walk-on with Pitt in 2014, and in his senior season last year, started 13 games. He was second on the team with 82 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

Wilson was a return specialist at North Carolina A&T University. He returned 21 kicks for 714 yards and four touchdowns in 2018. He was also named the MEAC Return Specialist of the Year.

With training camp set to start, and rookies reporting on Thursday, the Riders announced there will be three territorial juniors in camp.

Offensive lineman Logan Ferland from the Regina Thunder will join defensive back Colton Holmes and lineman Mason Ochs from the Saskatoon Hilltops. The Riders are also bringing quarterback Des Catellier from the University of Manitoba to camp as part of the CFL’s Canadian QB Internship Program.
