The Saskatchewan Rough Riders have ended the B.C. Lions perfect season.

The Riders downed the Lions 21-9 last night at B.C. Place.

Saskatchewan was lead by Quarterback Kerry Joseph who threw for one touchdown and ran one in.

Riders running back Wes Cates rushed for over 100 yards and made a game saving tackle in the 4th quarter on a missed field goal.

Saskatchewan's Defence continued to shine, picking off 3 Jarious Jackson throws in the second half.

The Riders improve their record to 4-2 on the season while B.C. falls to 5-1.

Next action for the Green Machine is next Friday when they head to Toronto.

One other game last night saw Montreal over Toronto 29-27 in overtime.
