The first of four meetings was held last night in Oxbow at the Glenn McQuire School regarding school closure.

Lyndale School in Oungre and Weldon School in Bienfait are two of the other schools in consideration for the discontinuance of grades while Frobisher School is under consideration for complete closure along with Glen McQuire.

Don Rempel, Director of Education says electors will hear of the motion to consider grade discontinuance or closure at the 4 school facilities and the main focus of the meetings is for electors to be able to plan to talk with the board during the 3 month discussions.

Tonight, a meeting will be held at Frobisher School, tomorrow at Weldon School in Bienfait and on Thursday, Lyndale School will host a meeting all beginning at seven.

These meetings are open for all electors of the South East Cornerstone School Division.
