The Weyburn Scouts have been doing lost of fundraising this year in hopes of sending three youth and two leaders to the World Scouting Jamboree in 2019 and this month they will be holding, wait for it, a BOWLING tournament!

"You don't have to be kingpin and all that stuff," said Allen Klassen, Scout leader. "You can be any skill level."

The tournament will be a bingo style tournament, not necessarily score based.

"It'll make it a lot of fun."

The tournament will run February 25th at 1:00 p.m. and the Scouts are hoping for ten teams to join in. It's $40 per person ($200 per team) and that gets you bowling, shoe rental, pizza and, of course, you'll be in to win some door prizes.

Teams are made up of five people but Klassen added that people can register as individuals. The best way to register is to call Kim at (306) 861-5025.

"I hope to have a lot of people out there," added Klassen,"We need to raise about $5,000 per person."
