For the second time in 2 days, Weyburn has set a new record high temperature.

Yesterday the mercury reached 37.8 degrees, breaking an 88 year old record high.

The previous record was 35.6 degrees set all the way back in 1926.

Bob Cormier with Environment Canada says the hot weather will continue over the next few days.

There will be a little more cloud cover in the afternoons and chance of showers.

He adds a persistantly southern flow of warm air is causing the hot temperatures in Saskatchewan.
