Numbers from this week's Sask Ag and Food's crop report show most
farmers in the southeast are putting the final touches on Spring seeding.

Southeast farmers have seeded 91% of this year's crop which is right on
the 5 year provincial average.

As a province we have seeded 85% of the crop.

According to Agrologist Terry Bedard, some crops are already emerging
thanks to the warm weather, but there is some damage as well.

Bedard reporting gophers are still being a pest in the southwest part of
the province and an increasing one here in the southeast.
