Creative Connections, a new monthly drop-in program at the Weyburn Credit Union Spark Centre, will run this upcoming Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

City Curator and Arts Coordinator Regan Lanning said it's basically an art club for adults.

"Whatever you are working on privately, you can bring it to the Spark Centre, set up, and work on it with other people from our community who are also working on their art projects."

She said it's an easy way to make friends.

"If you're like an artist, you can meet other people who have those same things that you are interested in."

On the same day Creative Connections takes place, once a month, during the lunch hour, Lanning will be offering a talking tour.

"So you can come and tour the art exhibition with me, ask questions, share your insights, I'll share mine," she explained. "It's kind of like a sharing and a learning opportunity for people."

She said while these are free drop in programs for members of the Spark Centre, it's $7.25 for non-members (an adult monthly membership for the Spark Centre is $64).
